“Avon Riverside” print

Price range: £2.50 through £15.00

Description

In the style of vintage UK railway posters, this poster print features a scene on the Avon Valley Railway as their Avonside 0-6-0 saddle tank locomotive “Edwin Hulse” crosses the bridge over the river Avon. The Avon Valley Railway is a heritage railway between Bristol and Bath in Southwest England, preserving a section of the Midland Railway that connected the Midlands to the south coast. You can learn more about the AVR on their website.

There are two poster sizes to pick from: A4 (210mm x 297mm) or A3 (297mm x 420mm). High-quality satin paper type gives it no sheen and looks great displayed as-is, or in a frame.
Alternatively, you can pick a Postcard size print (105mm x 148mm); the standard size for UK postcards. This has rear printing unique to this particular design.

Will be posted in a removeable plastic sleeve and cardboard-backed envelope for protection.

The AVR Heritage Trust has very kindly granted me permission to sell this artwork. Prints featuring this artwork can also be found in their gift shop at Bitton station, which is open on running days. Please consider a visit to help support the railway.
